Womenpreneurs: The Mastercard Index
‘Women business owners are not only good for communities, but they are a critical investment in our economic future’. Have you read through The Mastercard Index of Women Entrepreneurs report yet? If not, I urge you to take a look at these insightful findings.
Womenpreneurs
Being a womenpreneur myself and also being surrounded by a bunch of other amazing women in business I am constantly reminded of the incredible contribution women in particular bring to business.
Samantha Pillay writes a great article on the topic. Here is an excerpt; Women seek balance, care about solutions and when they are passionate about something, they never give up. Women entrepreneurs create businesses that benefit themselves, their families, their employees, communities, customers, and the world. Think of a woman on a mission – she is unstoppable! Through hours of unequal share of childcare and domestic duties, they are overqualified machines when it comes to sweat equity – the backbone of startups.
Now more than ever it’s vital we support small business and in particular women in business. Not only is it a great initiative to lift others up but findings indicate it could be the missing piece to our global economic recovery.
