Preserving the existing visual brand, the website was redeveloped using UX design methodologies to create a more streamlined and user friendly experience both at the festival and as an information resource for prospective attendees. *Concept only, not for profit. This three day electro dance party is like no other!

From Hidden Discos & Secret Lodge Soirees to vibrant fancy dress & the best Tropical Pool Parties. Add in Random Acts of Kindness, yoga, a waterpark, crazy golf & even some local kangaroos and you have yourself one epic music festival!

Each year they invent a series of themed characters to promote the event. We created a tropical theme including new illustrations and a vibrant colour palette.

BRAND DISCOVERY

Return to Rio Brand Analysis

The process started with a detailed brand discovery session and research to ensure we understood the true essence and appeal of the brand and what the users actually wanted and needed from the website.

Return to Rio Brand Persona

The discovery process included an analysis of the brand and its visual look along with researching their key competitors and undertaking a SWOT analysis. We then developed brand personas and identified their needs and wants and undertook a detailed review of their existing site to determine how we could improve the website with an enhanced user experience.

Throughout the design process, regular testing was undertaken to ensure the site would be exactly what the users expected.

The end result was a simplified menu, less lengthy pages and clearer navigation for festival goers using the site at the event and prospective attendees seeking information prior to purchasing event tickets.
